Royal Ascot Chauffeur Service
Premium chauffeur service for Royal Ascot — Britain’s most prestigious race meeting and the defining event of the summer social season. Expert local transport for all five days, all four enclosures, from addresses across Berkshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire and London.
Royal Ascot takes place each June over five days at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, three miles from Windsor Castle. For over twenty years Executive Chauffeur has been the trusted transport partner for racegoers attending from the Thames Valley, Surrey and London — providing discreet, punctual transfers that match the occasion in every respect.
We understand Royal Ascot in a way that only genuine local knowledge allows. Our drivers know every road closure, the carriage procession timing that shuts the course road at 2pm each afternoon, the quieter approach routes that avoid the A329 queues, and precisely where to drop clients at each enclosure entrance. The Royal Enclosure, the Queen Anne, the Village Enclosure and the Windsor Enclosure all have different access arrangements — we know each one intimately.
The end of racing is where a professional chauffeur makes the greatest difference. When 60,000 people leave the racecourse simultaneously after the last race, the roads around Ascot become gridlocked for up to an hour. Your driver monitors the situation in real time and meets you at a pre-agreed collection point away from the main crush. A text when you leave your enclosure and you are in the car within ten minutes — while others queue.
Royal Ascot week is the most in-demand period of our year. Clients who attend regularly book their transfers for the following year in the weeks after race week ends. If you are planning to attend, we strongly recommend booking early — availability during Ascot week fills months in advance and we cannot always accommodate last-minute requests.
We serve all five days of the meeting and provide transfers from addresses across Windsor, Ascot, Virginia Water, Sunninghill, Sunningdale, Beaconsfield, Mayfair, central London and the wider Thames Valley. For clients attending corporate hospitality, we coordinate with your host’s arrival requirements and can handle multiple collections from different addresses for a party travelling together.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which enclosures do you serve at Royal Ascot?
We serve all four enclosures — the Royal Enclosure, Queen Anne Enclosure, Village Enclosure and Windsor Enclosure. Each has a different drop-off point and we know exactly where to position for each. Simply tell us which enclosure you are attending and we will handle the rest.
What happens to the roads during Ascot week?
Berkshire County Council implements significant traffic management across the SL5, SL4 and GU20 postcodes during race week. High Street Ascot becomes effectively one-directional, the A329 and B3034 queue from mid-morning, and the royal carriage procession at approximately 2pm closes the course road for 20 to 25 minutes. We factor all of this into your collection time and monitor conditions on the day in real time.
How far in advance should I book my Royal Ascot transfer?
As early as possible. Royal Ascot week is our most in-demand period and availability fills months in advance. Many of our regular clients book the following year’s transfers in the weeks after race week ends. If you are planning to attend, please contact us as soon as your tickets are confirmed.
Can you collect a group from different addresses?
Yes. We regularly coordinate collections from multiple addresses for parties attending together — picking up from home addresses in Windsor, Ascot, Virginia Water and London in a logical sequence before proceeding to the racecourse. Please provide all addresses when booking and we will plan the most efficient route.
Do you cover all five days of the meeting?
Yes. We are available for all five days — Tuesday through Saturday. Each day has a different character: Wednesday draws the largest crowds and is the most formal; Thursday (Ladies’ Day) has the most elaborate dress; Saturday’s Diamond Jubilee Stakes brings the week to a close. We are happy to advise on the best day to attend if you are considering a first visit.
